A Little More About Bri
Yoga Instructor | Actor | Writer
I first found yoga about 7 years ago. I always knew that i wanted to be a yoga instructor but never knew what that would look like for me.
As an artist its vital for me to have an intimate relationship with my innermost physical and emotional bodies and yoga became my primary tool in doing that. I love being able to get on the mat - a no judgment zone - and dedicating time to be with self, be with God or both.
As an instructor, I seek to share that same experience with my students. Providing a safe, welcoming environment for their practice and sharing my knowledge is one of the things in life I am most proud of. Every single class I teach is truly a gift because each one allows me to be of service and holds me accountable to my personal work. First practicing and then getting my 200 Hr Teacher certification at Dehya Yoga Studios, I was reminded of one of my passions, community. Building a community takes individuals. Being an individual takes inner work. Through my studies I've learned that every time we get on the mat we are a little better. When we are better, our communities are better. When our communities are better, the world is better.
